Austen's of Rochester is here to showcase how good the foods from local Kent based farms and artisans really are. We want to encourage everybody to talk about and eat local as much as possible and, by doing so, ensure that we all play a part in the sustainability of our local farms and passionate artisan food producers.'

In May 1990 we converted a farm building by the farm gate and opened the shop to offer a little taste of the countryside to all.
We grow a variety of fruit and vegetables on our farm which are ready for sale within hours of harvesting, plus selected fresh produce from other local farms.

The farm shop is an important part of the local community and we are proud to continue with this tradition. We are always pleased by the fantastic support seen from our customers and we are passionate about ensuring you enjoy the friendly welcome from the team.

Specialising in traditional beef and lamb native breeds raised outdoors, Court Farm Butchery and Country Larder offers a wide range of fresh and tasty meat.

Downingbury Farm shop is a great place to stock up on all sorts of fresh produce from the farm, as well as a wide selection of carefully chosen local food and drink products from across the area, the shop has expanded greatly and now stocks fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, preserves, cakes, chocolate, apple juice, wine and ale, and an extensive deli range. You can also stop for a coffee and a piece of cake in our café.
