“ASPARAGUS” the first vegetable of the English Summer Season. With its delicate flavour, it can be combined with main dishes or simply eaten as a starter with melted butter. Steamed, grilled or on the barbeque, preparation is quick and easy.
In the early 1990’s the first asparagus beds were planted in Groombridge. Now we grow 14 acres on our free draining, sandy soils at New Park Farm. We supply hotels, restaurants, farm shops, including our own, Groombridge Farm Shop and take it to Farmers Markets in London and locally.
